Creative Showcase (Camera Ready Version submission deadline: 08 Oct 2010, 5pm PST)

Submission Details:


1. Confidentiality
All ACE program chairs and reviewers must accept a confidentiality agreement, which obligates them to treat the submitted papers as confidential information. Once the submission is accepted, its publication will be made available at the first day of the conference on Nov. 17, 2010.

Creative Showcase will comprise of the following 3 categories:

3. Reviewing process
Reviews will be a single-blinded process (i.e., include authorship information of the submitted materials). During the submission process, authors who have submitted papers to the creative showcase category have the option to either agree or disagree with the program committee to publish  their work in the poster session.

4. Presentation and publication
Accepted work will be demonstrated to conference attendees during the Creative Showcase session. We are  planning for a teaser session where authors will have one minute to elaborate their work.

5. Submission rules

Submissions to this track should be accompanied by one page extended abstract. See ACM SIG Proceedings Template for more instructions. Please use the  "Strict Adherence to SIGS style" on that page. There are also word and word perfect templates linked with the template page. If
possible, it is highly recommended that you write your paper in Latex as it is the ideal and preferred style that are strongly recommended by the program committee.

Please refrain from submitting work that has been published, demonstrated previously, and work that is concurrently submitted to other conferences, failing which your work will be declined without review. The extended abstract and other supplementary materials must be submitted as PDF documents.

After acceptance the final camera ready is to be accompanied by a copyright form, Download the form  Here.

The submission should include all information necessary for a thorough evaluation of your contribution. Requests for reviewers for reviewers to go to some web sites or other external sources for extracting information will not be entertained as this may disclose the anonymity of the reviewers. Submissions that require further information from the external sources will be returned for revision or declined without review.

One page extended abstract based on ACM SIG template.
For facilitation of the illustrations, please specify you requirement:

Authors may include videos and photos with the submission, and such materials are strongly encouraged if they strengthen the results of the claimed contribution. Videos should not be longer than 5 minutes, and the total size of all the submitted materials (including the PDF doucment) must be under 40MB. If you include a video, please also include a text file describing what codec you used to create the video.

Videos should be playable by either the current Windows Media Player or Apple Quicktime player. It is preferred that your video be playable by these standard players without requiring additional codec installations. If you require a special codec (e.g. DivX), please be certain that you provide sufficient instructions on  locating and installing the codec. If the reviewers fail to play your video file, it will reduce the chances of your submission being accepted.
